Friedrich Dreves was responsible only for Volume I, the later volumes were by Friedrich Gottlob Hayne with the assistance of Heinrich Christoph Albrecht.

These exquisite hand-coloured and rather rare prints come from the 1st edition of this scarce botanical work which was issued in 28 parts with in all 152 plates. They are printed on beautifully watermarked paper.
