Sveriges Fåglar och Fågelbon, by Rosenius 1913-49

This very extensive work on the birds of Sweden and their nests, by Paul Rosenius was produced in 6 volumes over a period of thirty-six years, and contained 848 lithographic plates, many in colour. Originally published in 257 booklets. The work is rarely found in a complete state, adding to the relative rarity of these lithographic plates. All bird species were illustrated in watercolour by Gustaf Swenander.
