These very attractive plates come from probably the most significant work on Oology, "Eggs and the Birds of Europe", which includes all the species inhabiting the Western Palearctic region. 

Originally published between 1905-1910 in two volumes consisting of 24 parts and 106 plates of nearly 2000 accurate figures of eggs. The Dresser Collection of eggs as well as his library can be found in the Museum of Manchester University.
