This is a very rare set of hand-coloured bird prints based on original paintings by Thomas Watling and held in the British Museum (Natural History).  The images, painted around 1795, were published as hand-coloured lithographs in the rare periodical ”The Austral Avian Record vol 5(1) 1922” by G. M. Mathews and T. Iredale.
